In Physics Newtons Law outlines Gravitational Energy as potential energy associated with a gravitational field.  

Gravitational potential energy may be converted to other forms of energy such as kinetic (work/motion) energy.  

Lighting a match is an example of gravitational potential energy being converted into kinetic energy, and light energy!  

I clear 'weights,' or energies. 

I am able to do so through energy, and not time.  

By releasing/‘lifting’ mass, kinetic energy is increased.
